Is Hemp Legal?

It's complicated. In short, Hemp is legal in most states.

However, there are two major caveats worthy of mentioning:

Federal guidelines are very clear. Hemp products cannot contain more than 0.3% of THC. All THC levels higher than 0.3% is considered Marijuana.

Secondly, some states were afforded the liberty to pass their own hemp laws, if, those laws receive approval from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Which makes it’s complicated.

There are numerous states that have legalized recreational and medicinal marijuana.  Which only causes more confusion about what is legal and what is not.  Therefore, we highly recommend you check the state law where you currently reside to remain in compliance.
