Why is Hemp oil so Expensive?

Millions of dollars are spent in the cultivation, processing, manufacturing, and delivery of hemp.

All USA grown hemp is highly regulated. Hemp farmers and processors must pay very expensive state licensing fees to do their business.

Huge amounts of money are spent on quality third-party testing of every crop before and after harvesting. These Certified tests are to ensure the harvest meets legal cannabinoid limits. Each harvest must also be free of pesticides and all other contaminants.

Next, the raw hemp flower needs to be transported to a very elaborate extraction facility where it undergoes rigorous processes.  The lab is heavily secured and excessively clean.  This is where the hemp flower is transformed into solid liquid.

The product needs to be packaged, shipped, marketed, and advertised for consumers to find them.

All told, a costly process that makes CBD worth its weight in gold.
